What a beautiful picture of her. It's how I'll always remember her - happy and smiling. My Aunty Hildie.

The news about Hildie is so sad - a wonderful lady who will always be remembered and missed so very very much. RIP Hildie and thank you for all you gave to each of us.

Sue Sweeney just told me, after a listener (June, I think) got in touch with her show asking for the message to be passed on.

My thoughts are with her family and friends.

I feel I know Hildie through this blog by my own dear friend Ian and so I know what a lovely and loved friend she was and how much she will be missed.

I've found great comfort in the many messages posted on the last two blogs and I feel sure Hildie's family have, too.
She was unassuming, thoughtful, gentle and caring - which, in this tired and selfish world, made her a force to be reckoned with!
Hildie was a star.
A very big, very warm truckshunter HUG to everyone.
