This is a photograph of Stuart Kettell, aged 49, who, as I speak, is pushing a Brussels sprout up Mt Snowdon with his nose.

Mt Snowdon is 3,560 ft (1,085 m) high and it will take Stuart 4 days - four days - to complete the task and to raise as much money as he can for Macmillan Cancer Support.

I think that what he’s doing is gloriously bizarre enough to deserve a blogposting on its own.

It surely also deserves a donation, however small, from all of us.  Do it at:

If ever there was a need for a dab of superglue then this has to be it.
Good luck to Stuart, but one sprout won't be enough to complete the challenge that's for sure.
Donation number 339 is my door number....how weird was that.

It took Stuart Kettell 4 days and 22 sprouts to complete his mission.
